A. You can use your Visa Check Card at any merchant displaying the Visa logo. You can also use your card at any ATM displaying the STAR®, Visa®, or PLUS® network logos. By teaming our ATM card with Visa, you now have literally millions of places you can use your card.
A. There is no fee to use your Visa Check Card at any First National Bank of Mifflintown ATM. There is a fee when you use your Visa Check Card at an ATM not owned by The First National Bank of Mifflintown to make withdrawals; plus that institution may also assess a surcharge fee. However, there is no charge to make deposits. You can use your card to make deposits at all First National Bank of Mifflintown ATMs and certain other ATM's that indicate they accept deposits.
A. Yes. If you specify that you want your statement savings account to be accessible by your Visa Check Card either when you apply for the card or by adding it at a later date. You can have more than one checking account and more than one statement savings account tied to your Visa Check Card. However, all purchases will come out of the account you designate as your "primary" checking account on the application. You must have and link a checking account to a Visa Check Card to apply for the Visa Check Card. We cannot open a Visa Check Card with only a savings account due to certain regulations.
A. You present your card to the merchant. The merchant enters your purchase information into the terminal and slides your card through the terminal. You verify the amount and sign the slip or verify the amount and enter your PIN into the terminal. The merchant gives you a receipt. The purchase is deducted from your checking account. The transaction appears on your monthly checking account statement.
A. Yes, some merchants will allow you to authorize more than the cost of goods or services purchased and receive the difference in cash when you use the Visa Check Card.
A. Resolve the issue directly with the merchant where you made the purchase. When using the Visa Check Card, your rights relating to merchandise and refunds are the same as if you paid by cash or by check.

With The First National Bank of Mifflintown Visa Check Card, purchases are automatically deducted from your checkbook. Since you are using your own money to make purchases, there are no finance charges.
A. You can use your Visa Check Card to make purchases, get cash at ATM's, make deposits at ATM's that accept deposits and transfer money between your First National Bank of Mifflintown accounts.
