If you have savings in a savings account, but don't have enough for the regular Certificate of Deposit minimum balance, you might want to try a CD Plus account. It is a great way to get started.

  • Only need $500 to open
  • Can add additional funds with a minimum deposit of $100.00 - Unlimited amount above $100.00
  • CD will mature in one year from the opening date. Additional deposits do not affect the maturity date.
  • Interest may be withdrawn at maturity
  • CD will be automatically renewable for the same length and features
  • Interest will be compounded monthly and added to the account
  • If any of the deposit is withdrawn before the maturity date, a penalty of 3 months interest on the amount of money that is withdrawn
  • No deposits may be made the last seven days preceding maturity
